Kirsten Kirlin, founder of VenueSet, is a MARKETING LEADER with proven expertise in developing strategies and creating integrated marketing programs that achieve results. Before creating VenueSet, Kirlin served in senior-level marketing roles at Verio, Exostar, Ariba/FreeMarkets, Nortel, and EDS. Kirlin’s programs focus on lead generation, pipeline progression, and customer upsell/cross-selling. These programs comprise print and online advertising, event marketing (conference, trade shows, seminars, webinars, roundtables, and sports marketing), email marketing, direct mail, and teleprospecting. Kirlin has a bachelor degree with a concentration in Management and Organizational Behavior and a graduate degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. She has earned certificates as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and in Meeting Management (CMM).
